Bert Lawant

was a Dutchman who wrote extensively about

"Dust My Broom"

and especially about the famous Elmore James riff.
He made 5 Dutch booklets with tapes of the songs
in 1993, 1995,1996, 1997 and 2001.
Bert also wrote an English summary of the first four booklets. (1993 to 1997)
Bert described 130 versions (he found 178 in total)
that feature the famous Elmore James riff.

Bert not only described songs titled "Dust My Broom," but also others
that featured the famous riff. A truly in-depth study, especially at the time.
The internet was still in its infancy.
